I zoned into Cavalon, and to my delight, immediately saw two people offering to ferry people to The Deep.
I hope this sets a precedent for future alliances who hold the capitals, but it remains to be seen.

As of now TC isn't too far ahead and may have been locked out by tomarrow. We will not stop though (I'm personally burnt on farming and such so I'm going to bed). If you want to contribute faction in our fight to keep Cavalon open to all your more than welcome to but as stated not required just pm someone with above said tags to find out how. It involves leaving your guild joining one of ours then dumping faction in cumbersome, yes, but would allow us an easier way to continue to keep the deep open to all. If you see me on I will gladly pay for the invitations both ways. Either way through contributions or not we can and will either keep Cavalon or get it back in order to better the community and offer the deep as something we can all enjoy. I hope as many of you as possible have gotten to experience it at least once throughout the day. I know I've personally delivered an upwards of 200+ people on top of putting in 130k faction hence the reason why I'm burnt lol.
We're not trying to go for recognition if another alliance was willing to do the same then we'd be all for it and behind them 100%. As it stands now though there's not too many in a position to do that and for the time being we will continue to work for the community.
Hope to see you all in game and hopefully we can continue to allow access for all.
Sincerely,
Pointblank Death

Pointblank,
Thanks for all the effort. You deserve a rest. The nice thing is that you and TC don't actually have to hold Cavalon indefinitely. You can let it lapse back into the hands of Blackblades or whoever else wants it. In fact it's in your best interest to do so. That way you guys can rest up and gather more faction for another assault at a later date. The Blackblades can grind themselves into the ground trying to hold on to it if they like. I don't envy them though. It's not fun to be looking over your shoulder every minute worrying about who might overtake you.
TC should relax and enjoy the fruits of their labor. Have fun in The Deep yourselves and know that the GW community is happy that you guys are in it.
Cheers!

Sorry haven't been able to sleep yet but enjoying not having to look at one more carp or kurzick on my box runs lol. MelechRic thanks for the reply and you're right we have relaxed and enjoyed the fruits of our labor which was for me at least taking my first group into it. I actually got more enjoyment out of that than when I went into the mission (Although pulled a Zodiac shield out). Everyone's response to this is why me and AFAIK the rest of TC was going for. We just want to hold Cavalon enough to where alliances won't have this elitist mindset and everyone can enjoy the mission. If I wasn't off of work at the moment and didn't have my wife who's also in the guild helping farm all the time I'm sure I would have been part of the majority of CASUAL players and probably never had access to this.
My goal upon entering SS and eventually us ending up in TC was to get Cavalon and open it up for whoever. The people that we hope benefit the most from this are the smaller guilds and actual casual players that can't spend the 10-16 hours a day that I've personally put in while we were making our last push on Cavalon. We've got guys that are just total machines in TC lol Photics being one of them that are only doing this for the benefit to all.
Do we want to hold Cavalon forever? No but we WILL go after Cavalon with avengance whenever someone wants to try to lock it down with an elitist attitude. Personally if someone wants to shoot for Cavalon and have access for them and them only it ruins the experience for so many because of the fact that these people are trying to put Cavalon so far out of reach and trying to get extreme amounts of money. BTW the zodiac shield I got was given away. These farming runs I've been on actually add up pretty quick lol. Plus I've hit chests while on these runs.
Anyways, again a big thank you from me and I'm sure TC for all your support in helping open Cavalon to all. While it's unfortunate that we've had to expose some people in opposing alliance(s) on just where they stand in terms of maturity and basic respect for others than themselves, it is also something that can't be avoided.
One last thing as well, I will personally pay 10 platinum to whoever can show me this auction on EBAY that offers faction. Apparently according to BKBD this is what we did in order to gain Cavalon. Not even sure how that one would work but nice try anyways. Sorry for misspells but can't really think straight lol.
If we still have Cavalon (which I'm sure we will) tomarrow look me up if you're looking for a ride into the deep. Might be about 2 mins or so depending on where I'm at in my little lux-ex runs.

Clearing Up Rumors
Many people say that we (TC) have been buying factions from people in game and on ebay.
1. We have not given 1g to anyone for gaining faction except for the contests we run for our alliance on the weekends. Anyone who has been advertising to pay for faction has been told not to.
2. You cannot buy faction on E-Bay, and we wouldnt even if you could. I have no clue how someone got this rumor started.
Similarly people are saying the only reason that we own Cavalon is because we have been getting massive donations from people in the community. This is false, we've only recieved around 35k (This is increasing however) from this method. We jumped up 1.5M faction becasue we were only 8 guilds, but then 2 joined, THL and SoH. So we have put just as much time as BkBds, actually more, we are about 200 members short of their population, if what I've been told is correct.
People say what we're doing is wrong, saying Elite missions should only be for those that have spent all the time getting them. We dont agree with that...Elite Missions are Elite Because they are the hardest missions by far to complete, in fact you need to be Elite to complete them.

I merged this thread as it's the most appropriate here and there's not a need to create a second thread with the discussion of the topic. I truly hope it does clear things up for some users but I can see that this might be a volatile subject so if the discussion or replies appear to be turning to insults or accusations then this thread will be closed.

As a member of [DarK], I can tell you what our alliance is doing is 100% Legit. We are getting kind people PMing us asking to donate Faction. Why? Because we let them into the Deep.
Absolutely no one is paying people for their Faction. The community has been helping us a TON with this, and in return you guys get free entrance into the Deep.
Thanks again everyone,
Chris

Just as an update, as of last game update at 2:00 ea we only held Cavalon by 120,000. BkBd is determined to get Cavalon back and make it exclusive again with the 35k that has been donated thats still 85k that we've worked on to stay over them.
Obviously our numbers have slipped a little while allowing access to as many as possible and some of our members actually seeing some different scenery for the first time in god knows how long lol. As stated if you would like to donate faction thats fine if not that's fine too. Donating faction allows us to be able to keep Cavalon a little bit easier and keep the deep open longer. I will not pay for faction but will gladly pay for the invite both ways.
We are trying to make this a community service and feel that we have made strides in setting a (hopefully) positive example that people don't have to be about just getting all the good loot for themselves.
We're sorry for all who have to endure the constant mudslinging done by few again we we're approached by bkbd to end the personal attacks and collectively stuck to our bargain while they have gone back on theirs. We have no ill-will towards bkbd regardless of what they may say or how they choose to control their alliance or territory. We just have a different set of beliefs and principles and would appreciate if members of bkbd could possibly hold their end as much as possible by limiting personal attacks and spreading false accusations. This type of behavior in a GAME environment is not needed and only errodes the experience for all.
If you have different oppinions about how the capital should be controlled then do what we did and work your way there. The idea as suggested didn't really come through at all until after we took Cavalon so all those faction we're put in by dedicated people willing to come together for one common goal: Allowing access to all the elite mission in Cavalon.
Thank you and good night.

Congratulations TC, while i support your actions; again i think this is not a solution!
I think the problem relies elswhere not just overthrowing BkBd... as they are really slightly behind you.
Good job again.

Being inclusive is setting up a system where EVERYONE can play equally without regard to rank, privilege, income, gold farming, faction farming, alliance, guild membership, class, etc. Factions has nothing to do with inclusion. It is the enemy of all things democratic and humane.

Wow, if only Xo0 or any Kurzick holder would do this for the elite kurzick mission >_< I'm probly gonna end up hanging around in cavalon more often than not. Also, just a question, My alliance is w/ Kurzick, but PvE wise, you can be either luxon or Kurzick, would it matter still if you're part of a kurzick alliance? I know you just do befriend luxons and you'll have access to all luxon towns.
